A little about me.
This is me on a typical Monday morning. Mondays and I don't usually get along. I am not sure when it happened but somewhere along the way Monday decided to become my nemesis and has been wreaking havoc on my life ever since. My favorite day of the week is Friday. It is the start of the weekend and during the months of June and July I have Fridays off. Yes, I love my job.
So, a little about me and what this blog is all about. If you are reading this you already know the basics such as my name, location, marital status, etc. But, in case you don't know I will take this opportunity to remind you. My name is Rhonda. I live in the Southeast part of the Land of ahhhhhs with my Prince Charming (husband Thomas) and spoiled dog, Tanner. I have two wonderful kids (Tommy and Donna) and three awesome grandsons (Marc, Tony and Donovan). The other loves of my life are my nieces and nephews (whom you will probably hear all about in later posts).
This blog came about in part because of something my daughter is doing on Facebook. She is doing a project 365. She takes a picture a day and posts it or tries to. While talking to Thomas about it, he came up with the idea that I should do a blog instead. So, My Life in Pictures was started.
A little known fact about me is I am actually very shy (you can quit laughing now). It is true. I get very nervous in new situations and in crowds when I know no one. And public speaking use to terrify me so bad I would just shake like a leaf. The days I would have to give oral reports in school I would be physically sick for hours before that class knowing I would have to get up in front of the whole class and read. I guess that is funny to know that I get so nervous considering I have been in front of crowds running meetings, giving presentations and reading minutes, etc for a few years now.
Another little known fact is I am addicted to facebook, okay that is not a little known fact. Everyone knows it. :) I enjoy seeing what my family and friends are doing. It is also a great way to share pictures of family members when we all live so far apart and do not get to see each other often.
